The move is complete

So, I finally got confirmation that the old website is finally offline for good. Looks like this is my new online home. I know I said I would be better at updating and I was for awhile. I'll keep trying but I'm not making any promises as usual. Damn Facebook. Anyway, I'm probably just talking to myself here. We'll see, any a fond farewell to The Doghouse Forum at Dogeatdogsite.com.

In other news, finally caught Django Unchained. Hell of a movie. Just as violent as advertised with incredibly liberal use of the n-word peppered throughout. A little slow and long with an ending that almost seemed tacked on. A couple of interesting cameos and a true western setting....in the south.
Well worth checking oout if you're a Tarantino fan.

That whole thing in Boston

No, I was not and have not been affected by it directly. The only thing was that as a former runner and having been around numerous races in the past, it definitely saddened me. Aside from of course the whole terrorist attack against innocent Americans on American soil in a city I know fairly well, have been to many times, and have a great affinity for. The whole thing really hit me when I attempted once before to put down my feelings about the whole situation especially from a runner's perspective. It helped get it out of my system but I don't think I'll be sharing it.

Getting a little sick and tired of the piss poor reporting of speculation as fact. It takes hold and you practically have to bitch slap people to get them to realize what they think happened or details they may have heard once have long since been debunked or retracted.

It took more than a year and a half but the furry bastard finally bit me. Of course, it was because the local stray cat decided to stop by. They get in a hissing match and try to destroy each other through the sliding glass door. I decided to get in the middle, which he did not take kindly too.

Movie review, of sorts

I'm not going to go into great detail, but I have to get this one off my chest, as it's been eating at me all day.
Dark Shadows. What a pile of piss. Another Johnny Depp/Helena Bonham Carter/Tim Burton masterpiece of awfulness. It revolves around a resurrected vampire(Depp) in a fictional Maine town in a fictional 70's time period that never shows itself. Except for some half assed attempts at humor and set pieces. The story is pointless, but it's yet another out of place man trying to adjust to a world that doesn't quite understand him. Hell, I didn't understand him, beside being yet another Edward Scissorhand retread piece. By the end of the movie all I was left to wonder was why I had wasted nearly two hours watching the same movie Tim Burton always does. Don't bother watching it, it's not worth your time and I don't want to waste any more time discussing it.

Friday Cat Blog

A subtitle/slogan for the site, in a way. The name always came from the idea that it is a Dog Eat Dog World out there. Now I'm kind of glad I have a cat. Except for lately. The furry bastard has gotten increasingly vocal. My sleeping hours have been thrown off lately and therefore so has his. Add in the fact I'm feeding him less to help him lose weight and he's really pissed. There have also been a lot of new purchases lately. I'm trying to keep disturbances to a minimum but he's usually doesn't mind. Guess I'm wrong, besides he wins the battle half the time. Here we are fighting.

It's not "reality"

I keep seeing headlines about some dumbass redneck "reality" show participant that died. I don't give a fuck.
Yes, I feel terrible for his friends and family, but when did this shit become national news? And who cares? Ever since those do nothing fucktards on Jersey Shore and the do nothing rich cunts on Real Housewives got shows, it just sped up the downfall of society. Fuck 'em. Actually, I ammend my previous statement, I'm glad he's dead. Hope the rest of the "cast mates" follow suit. Serves them right, moronic rejects.
