No, I was not and have not been affected by it directly. The only thing was that as a former runner and having been around numerous races in the past, it definitely saddened me. Aside from of course the whole terrorist attack against innocent Americans on American soil in a city I know fairly well, have been to many times, and have a great affinity for. The whole thing really hit me when I attempted once before to put down my feelings about the whole situation especially from a runner's perspective. It helped get it out of my system but I don't think I'll be sharing it.
Getting a little sick and tired of the piss poor reporting of speculation as fact. It takes hold and you practically have to bitch slap people to get them to realize what they think happened or details they may have heard once have long since been debunked or retracted.
